Leaving on a jet plane ...

Tonight I catch the red eye, night flight, midnight horror from Perth to arrive into chilly Melbourne tomorrow morning!  *brrrrrrr* and bring me COFFEE now!
Why am I leaving the bearable coolness and wild weather in Perth for frosty Melbourne? I am attending the Melbourne Craft & Quilt Fair and catching up with some gorgeous ladies from The Sewing Sisterhood - and NONE of them have met me before, boy are they going to be in for a shock when shy little me rocks up!!
Coming along for the ride is "Dolly" (she really needs a name, must be time to decide on it!) - and Dolly is not only flying in the cabin in her travelling bag, but she is tramming it to Rathdowne Fabrics (yes THE Rathdowne's from Project Runway Australia) bright and early tomorrow morning and then hopefully she will get a chance to whip around Melbourne with the lovely Gill from Frilly's Designs before heading off for the night with Jane from Lil Pip.  She is going to be one very busy Dolly this weekend!

I sat down tonight, with the very achievable plan of finishing a few sewing projects that are adding to the 'clutter' on my desk. Instead I decided to start a blog, there's a win for procrastination!
